“We’ll go Perra’s way. Were gonna demolish this thing.” I told them. “Move outside and take up covering positions. Perra, you know what to do.”
A few seconds later, we were all outside and spread out in a circular covering formation while Perra fitted the legs of the tower with enough C4 to shoot it to the moon. After a minute Perra came running back towards everyone and me moved to a safe distance.
Perra looked at me, gave me a cocky grin and said, “Fire in the hole” and pushed the detonator. The sound was thunderous. Mini firestorms appeared at all four legs of the tower and jagged metal pieces shot in all directions. The explosion was so large it even destroyed the operations room. The night sky was lit up by Perra's work. In an instant, all that was left of that tower was a billowing cloud of black smoke and metal strewn across the clearing.
Everyone came out from their cover and stared at the blackened ground. Perra strolled up to one last pole sticking out of the ground and kicked it with his combat boot. The others nodded in favor at his work.
“All right, two objectives down. Now all that's left is our main objective. Move out."
